The 33 is a mid-sized reel made for channel catfish and bass or other sized fish. The 733 is a large reel with a big line capacity made for carp, catfish and what not. I honestly think you're out of you're mind for wanting either of these reels for bream and perch! Bream and perch are very small fish and reeling them in with a medium action or medium/heavy action rod will be NO fun. Get the Zebco 22 or Zebco 11. These are small reels suited for bluegill, sunfish, perch, crappie and what not.

hey there, for many many years zebco has been making the 33 classic and then the steped it up a knotch with the platnium. the reels are pretty simular and one thing that they have in common is that they are both great great reels. for the type of fishing you are gonna be doing the 33 is the way to go. along with making the reels for many years they have been making many many people into fisherman and have been making great memories to go along with it. go ahead and get the 33 and i can gaurantee you that the reel will do exactly what you want and then some. i hope this helps you out a bit and which ever you choose i am positive that you will be happy with your selection. just get the 33 because they usually come with a small tackle box and a few lures and bobbers and hooks as well as a pole so one stop shop and you will have every thing that you need. good luck good fishin be safe and remember to share the experience
