But if you are in Houston, there is no better place than Freeport, Galveston or Matagorda to fish. Get a guide in Matagorda and you should catch lots of Speckled Trout. Ditto for Freeport and Galveston. Check these sites out on the net. And always bring home fresh shrimp and blue crab off the fishing boats; also fresh crab meat, so fine!
