The best way to train any skill is just to train it.

For non members, “fly fishing” is often the best. Just get a lot of feathers and a fly fishing rod, then go to Barbarian village and fish near the river. Then walk to edgeville or varrock bank, and bank your fish, then walk back and fish more.

If you are a member, look into doing the Swan Song quest, and once you can catch monkfish from that, know that that is one of the best ways to get fishing experience in the game. It gives 10 more exp than shark, and catches almost as fast as lobsters, but sells for a little more than lobsters. They also heal around 16… so overall they’re pretty nice.

The best way to gain fishingexp to to fly fish trout and salmon which is located in Barbarian VIllage and Lumbridge,

if you hurry you can do the new halloween quest and use the experience reward for fishing.

Well, if your fishing level is under 55 but over at least 20, fly-fishing would yield the quickest experience. Even at level 65 or higher, fly-fishing levels fishing quite fast. However, with the addition of barbarian fishing, you can fish non-stop by cutting up your fishes into caviar and using them as bait. If you’re non member, this will not be an option.

For non members, fly-fish on the River Lum. That is, the river running from the inlet south of the Lumbridge Swamps up to level 20 wilderness with members only canoe trees along the way. Go to Barbarian Village where you will find 2 or 3 fly-fishing spots. You can use the fire in the hall towards the west if you wish to cook your fish, and bank in the Edgeville bank which IS faster than the Varrock bank.

For members, complete the Shilo Village quest and take the cart in Brimhaven to Shilo for 10 gp. Get feathers from the shop or from the Grand Exchange and fish. Bank in the nearby bank to the south and cook later on in the Rogue’s Den. This is the fastest way to fly-fish if you wish to be able to bank. However, the spots move every few inventories and require a bit of running to catch up with.

Yea, you just have to train it. There are some nice ways to get your goal level fast and speedy. If your a member you can try to fish at shilo village(fly fishing). You can catch tons of trout and salmon there and bank it. The bank is a few seconds away. I’d say you get an average of 30-40k/hour there.

If you haven’t done that quest, you can try fishing at Barbarian village and droping the fish you get. Other then that, you can fish monkfish on the piscotoris fishing colony, i’ve heard thats a good way to get fishing up, but it requires the completion of swan song.
