What should I wear to an interview at an outdoors store? A store with hunting, fishing, boating, camping stuff?

I’m still planning on dressing up like wear black slacks and a dress shirt. But I don’t want to feel overdressed at this store because it’s a store for like hunting, fishing, camping, etc.

I think that what you chose is perfect. Wearing black slacks and a dress shirt is perfect. You want to go in there looking professional. You do not wanna be over-dressed and trust me, slacks and a dress shirt is not overdressed, and it’s not under-dressed. It’s Perfect for the kind of interview you are going to. Be confident in your decision. I believe that you chose the right one. Good Luck at your job interview, you’ll do well.

That actually sounds good, what you are planning to wear. Don’t wear a tie, though. You want to look at least one step higher than what the dress code is. It is alright to overdress, I actually wore a suit to an interview once wear I was extremely over dressed but wound up that I got the job because I wore the suit.
Good Luck!

There is nothing wrong with overdressing for an interview. First impressions are important! I think what you’ve put together is just fine.
