    I usually hear it called “Deep Sea Fishing” just google deep sea fishing in long island. In fact I just did it for you… Jack Knife

    You need a charter company that does fishing trips. Loads around.
    Here’s the search list….lots of them to call. Locations, phone numbers, etc.

    As others mentioned, it be Charter boats (link) and yes, that’s what their business is all about ~ takin’ ppl out like yourself for a’ days fishin’ or even longer dependin’ on the charter boat company FishSteelhead

    It is called Charter Boat fishing and is usually deep sea fishing.
    Charters charge by full day or half day of fishing; included are all fishing gear (rod, reel, lure/bait, net, gaff) and may include a snack or meal.
    It is a “guided” fishing experience which includes guides who help with setup of equipment and angler, tips and help in landing (netting or gaffing) your catch, and storing.
    All you need to do is enjoy the adrenaline rush of “fish on!”–man versus fish. Hazel H

    They are called fishing Charters, they can be kind of expensive but if you get three or four friends together it can be fun. Fishing for Truth

    charter fishing would be the right option you can also ask some local fisherman to help you he will probably charge you less Marriem
