I buy my license every year but I never knew what happend if you don’t have one?

No it doesnt matter what you fish.
You’ll get fined a couple hundred bucks

they will give you a ticket and can confiscate all your equipment and additional fines per fish caught. just get a liscense JT

You’ll just get a fine, and it won’t be too pretty! It’s cheeper to buy the license! But then again, you might not get cought… good luck! Sarah

You get a ticket, and a lecture for sure. You could get your gear confiscated, you could be arrested and taken down town. It all depends on the level of infraction and the mood the ticketing officer is in. Also it may not be a DFG warden that gets you it can be any officer of the law. chris w
