they will give you a ticket and can confiscate all your equipment and additional fines per fish caught. just get a liscense JT

You get a ticket, and a lecture for sure. You could get your gear confiscated, you could be arrested and taken down town. It all depends on the level of infraction and the mood the ticketing officer is in. Also it may not be a DFG warden that gets you it can be any officer of the law. chris w
