The use of solar panel in fishing vessel?
sHaLa asked:
I am currently writing a research about this stuff. “The use of solar panel in fishing vessel” Do you know any website or an idea of your own that might be helpful?? How is this being done?

Taken from an engineering cost/benefit perspective,
the considerations are:
cost of solar equipment vs energy costs of power from
the vessels existing generator system, with an eye
toward limits on fuel capacity for the expected voyage
length, and weight/space considerations for extra fuel
vs solar equipment.
Even with energy costs rising, solar equipment
would not be optimum on energy cost alone.
You’re going to have to learn a lot about fishing.

Solar power is used when a vessel is in a parked position. Power is sent to 12 volt battery that runs a fan to remove fumes from the bilge.
