Timeline asked: I’m interested in surf-fishing and fresh/salt water fishing. Which brands are commonly suggested as being good quality or a good investment? So far I’ve only been introduced to products from Penn.
And are combo deals worth looking into or should they be avoided?

I know that it is easier to catch fish with it, but I just want to know if it is to be used for a specific type of fishing, i.e. bottom fishing?

Yafooey! asked:
I live in a southern New England state that is considering putting a tax on fishing in Long Island Sound. This is outrageous. People fish for the sport, but primarily to get fresh fish and not pay over $8.00 per pound for it. Please give your opinion.
