How much will a good fishing rod cost?

I leave for a 3-week canoe trip in the arctic circle tomorrow, where fish are abundant, and I get the opportunity to stop at Yellowknife, NWT and shop for a fishing rod. I don’t fish much, so I’m just wondering how much would a good fishing rod that would last me three weeks cost, assuming it has all the tools necessary to lure a fish (rod, reel, line, etc.) Thanks.
