Adam Herrmann asked: How do you spool line onto a vintage fishing reel that has no line guide or eye on the reel (like some of the newer ones) to guide it on the reel, evenly?

Backwater Charlie asked: I use Clear & Clear/Blue Fluorescent or a variation of that color for my fishing. Just a quick question on your preferences when it comes to fishing line color.

Adam S asked: When ever I watch, read or hear about smallie fishing it always seems to talk about using line in the 4-10 pound range. Most largemouth fishing seems to be 10-20 pound, except for pitching and flipping.
In a lot of places except for down south, the smallies can be every bit as big as the largies and they fight as hard if not harder, so why the light line?

gary asked:
I am new to fishing with a pole and i cant understand how elastic is rated. Is for example size 12 elastic the same as 12Ib fishing line? And also how would you set it up to the bottom half of the line i understand the Ib of line used has to be higher at the top and going lower to thinner line at the bottom please help.

LEYTON IS SIX NOT OUT asked:
Here in the UK we generally use assorted size float rubbers and split shot to secure the float to the fishing line, so how do float stoppers which are used in countries such as Australia work?

Eddy Duffles asked: Is there any where to find fishing line online for cheaper? I don’t mean premium as in the best of the best, but at least brands that have been around, not no name stuff.
I am willing to spend money for decent line but I’d rather look for a deal if possible.
