What kinds of fishing can you do at bodega bay harbor at the pier?

I have been going to bodega bay recently and tried fishing while crabbing and so far nothing at all…..i don’t know what is in there close to the pier. And each time i go, i catch nothing. I was wondering if anyone else have went there and caught something and if they know what time and what bait to use to catch them?

Has anyone ever brought your dog fishing with you on a rocky jetty?

I was wondering how many of you have experience fishing or crabbing on a jetty with your dog.
We are going crabbing and are afraid our dog might slip and fall into the water or hurt herself on the rocky jetty at Bodega Bay. Should we leave her in the tent or do dogs navigate this well?
