You get your hunting lisence which is $7.50 or you can get a combo hunting and fishin lisence for $19.25. Then you can get deer, turkey, other game tags. You fill out paperwork, send it to the DNR, and they send you back two tags per person that sent in for tags. If you are a landowner your deer tags are free. you can read all you want and then some here about hunting prices, regulations, and all that stuff.
