Explain to him how you feel and let him know that you just do not feel up to going this time. If your father really loves you and I am sure he does he will understand. I am not saying he will not be hurt by your decision but he will understand. I would give anything though for a day with my father(I lost to lung cancer) but once again be honest with your father but be willing to compromise. Be honest with your father and he will understand.
