How can I convince my dad to take me fishing?

My dad said he’d take my friend and I fluke fishing over the weekend, but now he said he won’t take us. Now my friend and I are really disappointed. I have already bought all the takle I need (with my own money). How can I convince my dad to take us fishing?

go talk to him tell him how you feel and let him know he raised you not to go back on your word and he shouldn’t either

Leave it alone. Your father made a decision, and now you have to RESPECT that decision. Perhaps you could ask him to schedule another day to curb your dissapointment a little.
