For Farm/hatchery trout the ol Berkley's Power Bait fits well on the treble hook ;) ;). No need for a bobber/float when usin' it though ~ she floats. Split shot (sinker/weight) bout' 18-20 inches above hook will do ;)... < ' ( (( > <

Power Bait:=&navAction=jump&cmCat=MainCatcat20166-cat600174&catalogCode=2UG&rid=&parentType=index&indexId=cat600174&hasJS=true

Split Shot:=&navAction=push&catalogCode=IJ&rid=&parentType=index&indexId=cat20295&hasJS=true

Note: Both of the above are Cabela's but, they can be had preferably at any tackle store or even Walmart.

You can put chicken livers on one for cats, in fact i would recomend it! You can also put Berkly gulp alive night crawlers for the trout, one on each.

i wouldn't use a bobber i would use it witless or with a 2 or 3 split shots on.

Single size 12 or 14 hook with canned corn as bait works best. Use 2 lb line.
