Sorry I dont;I wish I could go fishing in Louisiana or Mississippi.I bet theres biggens down there.Mom of 4 young boys cant afford to travil yet!One day…….. Tina T

just go on line and type in [ public fishing ] and put your area or the area you want to fish.that’s what i do and have found places that i didn’t know about.it’s wonderful to hear you want to take your kids fishing.I’m 50 yrs old now and i remember my dad taking me fishing.i can remember every trip we made.he’s been gone now for 7 yrs,but i still have the memories,and thank you for making me think of them today.so take those kids fishing and remember they will always think about the good times y’all have. make sure you take a camera with you. git r done

I know quite a few spots in Louisiana. Im assuming you dont have use of a boat, but I can think of dozens of places to fish from the bank or a dock. Email me and let me know what part of LA you are near and I may be able to relay quite a few good spots….salt, fresh, or brackish water. YT

All I can tell you is that when I was a teen I use to fish for fun with oat meal on the Mississippi. I would take a handful of oat meal then dip my hand into the river to moisten it and place it around the hook, it worked for us at the time. gretsch16pc
