Definitely yes! There are millions of us out here doing it. I have to say you are one eloquent presenter when it comes to questions.
They say it takes a lifelong to perfect your fishing skills. I am afraid it might take you that long to teach you to bait your hook.

Definitely! I am a avid female angler and have been for 37 years. I have my secrets and rarely get skunked. I have a whole lot of patience (which you need) and I use Canadian nightcrawlers. They always work for me. It is exciting and yet peaceful and serene staring at the water and concentrating on your bobber. I get the best sleep of any night after I have been fishing for the day. Night fishing is great too! Great sport that is a learning experience and one in which you can always learn new things . It also changes when you change fishing spots. Watch, listen and learn. Patience is key and knowing where and when to fish with the type of water . Have fun! Yes..I call it a sport!
