Does the silver fishing rod in Animal Crossing: City Folk do anything special?
Kylias asked:
In Animal Crossing: City Folk, I recently bought a silver fishing rod. The problem is, I have no idea if it does anything special, or if it’s just to look fancy. I figured that anything you catch with it would be made more expensive or something, but that doesn’t appear to be the case.
Would anyone happen to know?

I heard the bait is better.
So fish are more attracted to it.
Though I haven’t confirmed it myself.
That’s what other people say. Ladymarine

The silver fishing rod cost the same as a normal fishing rod..
It attracts the fish so it’s easier to fish
I’d rather get that instead of the silver fishing rod instead of the
normal fishing rod. Much better and cost’s the same. Ichigo
