There is nothing barbaric about killing a shark, if you are going to eat it for food. And I mean to eat ALL the edible portions of it’s body, not just the fins!

Killing a shark strictly to take the fins and then throwing the shark back into the ocean to die truly IS barbaric and should be banned! That is like killing a whale only for it’s rendered oil.

If you want the fins for soup, take the rest of the animal at the same time. The meat of a shark is good eating and I’m sure there is a market for the meat as well as the fins.

Don’t blame sport fishermen. We don’t slaughter them just for the fun of fishing. We only catch, tag and release sharks for researchers and when we catch them to keep, it’s to eat the entire fish. Only catch what you can eat is the belief of every true sport fisherman. Waste is against nature and works to the detriment of all.

Yes! for the simple reason that humans and sharks belong to the same class Mammalia. We have the friendliest yet the largest whale shark in the world called BUTANDING. This endangered species is found in Donsol, Sorsogon, Bicol Region, Southern Luzon, Philippines.

Yes, I do. Every creature has a purpose. Check out National Geographic or just search sharks endangered species.You’ll find what your looking for. They’re are more than a few on the endangered species list and alot of organizations fighting to save them.
