Do you need a fishing license if you’re taking a minor fishing?

My dad is taking my little 9 year old brother fishing today but we’re not sure if he needs to have a license here in Washington. My dad won’t be fishing. My brother will though.

Most states will let minors under the age of 14. A few states like texas you can fish till like 17 or 18. TB

where i live you don’t need a license unless you go to a lake 2 miles from my house there you do need a license so depends where you fish but you should not need a license irish angler
