Does anyone have any knowledge of what sharks (if any) are on the threatened or endangered list? For the few people who get bitten by sharks, thousands of sharks are slaughtered for their fins or for sport fishing every day. I think this is outrageous.

If they were slaughtered in a humane way and monitored to prevent overfishing of a certain species, something tells me people would still be apposed to this form of fishing. Why is that? Why can’t people just treat these animals like they do any other animal that’s fished/hunted for?
