		<description>Try going with a 7 foot ugly stik spinning rod from walmart. They cost just under $30 and are great multi-use rods that are sensitive enough to catch small fish and strong enough to handle large fish. Buy a medium sized spinning reel and spool it up with 12lb line and you are good to go. Good luck! BTW, No matter what you do, don't get push button rods.</description>

		<description>looks like at least three different ones right there. you're going to want a fairly long one for surf, a shorter one with some backbone for raising your fish on a pier, and something considerably lighter for freshwater which will open up a whole 'nother can of worms. trout? bass? carp? musky? perch???</description>
